Green Wave Athletic Association (GWAA)

The Green Wave Athletic Association (GWAA) is a vital organization dedicated to supporting the fundraising efforts for our entire athletics program at Father Lopez. GWAA has played a crucial role in enhancing our sports programs by providing essential items from coaches' wish lists. Some of these acquisitions include Guardian Caps, training sleds, golf bags, AcuSpike Team Trainers, mobility bands, barbells, bumper plates, meet platforms, and technique blocks for weightlifting, among other valuable resources. Additionally, GWAA's contributions have extended beyond equipment, with projects like lighting up our baseball and softball fields and creating a new Cross Country course right on our campus.

 

Green Wave Athletic Association Mission: To support FLCHS athletics through fundraising, communications, and community building.Objectives: 

1. To promote school spirit, sportsmanship, and community by encouraging attendance at all FLCHS athletic events.
2. To assist in the fundraising for FLCHS athletic programs.
3. To assist the FLCHS staff in organizing and staging special events and projects.
