Attention Lopez families and students!

The 2009-2010 school year is quickly coming to an end, but the preparations for next year are already in the works! As Student Government president, I encourage all students to run for candidacy for the 2010-2011 school year. This program is a great way to not only get involved, but also makes the voice of the students heard!  Paper work is available in the main office starting April 14th, 2010. All paper work is due to the main office by 8:00 A.M. April 22nd, 2010. On April 28th, 2010, each class will be meeting with their classes, where they present a previously prepared brief introduction including their qualifications and what they are involved in. This is in place of the usual speeches; these introductions need to avoid promising what you plan on doing. After each candidate gives their speech, the class moderators will ask each candidate a series of question that pertain to their position. Voting will be on April 29th, 2010 during both breaks and lunch. All campaigning items must be signed off my Ms. Blais. I encourage everyone to run and make your voice heard!
