Father Lopez Catholic believes that it is in the family that young women and men are nurtured in their spiritual life. It is in the school, which enters a partnership with the family, where opportunities and experiences enhance that spirituality. Each student's faith life is fostered through times of prayer, participation in religious celebrations, liturgy, study of scriptures and service to the community. These activities provide a Christian foundation and climate of faith in which to mature.

All students who attend Father Lopez are required to attend Theology classes each year and to participate in all religious activities. Our four-year curriculum will prepare young people for the challenges of an ever-changing world. They will be grounded in a strong Christian moral background. They will establish this strength as their personal relationship with Jesus is nourished. The school will provide a unique setting within which their faith can become living, conscious, and active.

Each class will have at least one retreat each year, which is part of the graduation requirement from Father Lopez.

Community service is an important part of the spiritual life of each student. We read in the scripture, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' A minimum of one hundred service hours is required for all students. Students are encouraged to volunteer in their Churches, work with the young, elderly, or persons with a disabilities. Students are challenged to give their special gifts back to the community.
