Annual Fund Each year, the Father Lopez Catholic High School's Annual Giving Campaign appeals to alumni and friends for support that makes a difference in the lives of our students. Annual Giving focuses on acquiring yearly contributions to fill the gap between what is needed and what is actually generated from tuition. While endowed funds are invested for a specific purpose in perpetuity, Annual Giving plays a vital part in the daily operation and success of our school. Tuition dollars only cover approximately 48% of the school's operating budget.
The Annual Fund receives gifts on every business day of the year. Any member of the Father Lopez family may make a gift or pledge at any time during the year. In Fiscal 2010 (July 1, 2010 -June 30, 2011) the Annual Fund worked to reach a total of $125,000 in gifts. This year our goal is even more agressive. We hope to reach $150,000 by June 30, 2012. Why Give? Participation in the Annual Fund is just as important at the amount of the gift. When we go to apply for a grant one of the first questions asked will be in regards to the participation % of our different constituent groups. Foundations tend to support organizations who receive solid support from all of the diffferent groups involved with the school. Your gift helps us attract and retain the most promising students. Your gift helps these promising students fulfill their dreams of obtaining a quality education. Your gift supports faculty development so faculty may pursue new ideas and strengthen their teaching expertise. Your gift helps us provide first-rate technology and facilities so we can send our graduates out into the collegiate ranks better prepared. Your gift helps us attract and retain well qualified faculty/staff by being able to provide respectable salaries. Does your gift really matter?
Yes! Every gift is important! The Annual Giving Campaign is not a campaign targeted to just a few wealthy donors. We need the investment of all Alumni and Friends in order to succeed. Every dollar counts! And you can increase your contribution at no additional cost by checking with your employer to see if they will match charitable gifts. If so, obtain a form from them, fill it out and return it with your fund gift. We'll take care of the rest.

Father Lopez, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is dedicated to excellence in the classroom, on the sports field, and in the community. Students continuously excel in each of these three areas. SAT scores are consistently higher than national, state, and local averages; our athletics program has earned state and national championships; and our students continuously contribute more community service hours than required.
Ways to give to Father Lopez
There are many ways to support Father Lopez, including gifts of time, talent, and treasure. You can give of your time by volunteering at the school. Opportunities abound. If you have skills, knowledge, or expertise in areas such as finance, law, leadership, graphic design, or other areas, you can make a gift of talent.
