Prayer Links:

Divine Office

The Divine Office (or the Liturgy of the Hours) is a compilation of daily prayers based on the Psalms, scripture of the day, and reflections that has been used by the Church since the Second Century. Today all priests and consecrated religious pray these prayers throughout the day. They are often recognized by their names of Lauds, Vespers, and Compline. The laity are invited to pray this prayer as well and it is a beautiful way to pray the Psalms. DivineOffice.org has not only the readings and prayers but also audio files and smartphone apps.

Daily Mass Readings

The USCCB have a section of their website dedicated to the daily readings at Mass. The Church has a 3 year cycle of readings to be used at Mass. If you were to read the daily Mass readings for each cycle you would read 90 percent of both Old and New Testaments. You can also subscribe to the daily readings via RSS feed or download audio files (http://www.usccb.org/bible/readings-audio.cfm).
