Dear Families,

Thank you for considering Father Lopez Catholic High School for your child. Please take the time to look through our website to learn more about our school. If you want to learn, even more, I welcome and encourage you to contact the main office and set up a time for your family to visit our campus.
As a Christ-centered Catholic high school, the living of our faith is paramount in everything we teach and do.  Our students display their God-given talents in the classroom, on the athletic field, during their artistic performances and shows, and by serving the community through the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, they choose to do.  We have an academic program which includes fifteen Advanced Placement courses, four college dual enrollment courses, twenty-nine honors level courses, and our students are involved with many academic honor societies—Father Lopez can accommodate students on all levels.
Our students and alumni refer to Father Lopez as a “family.”  Our family spans over fifty years of history, nearly 3,800 alumni, and a sense of belonging, which brings children of alumni back to Father Lopez. Lopez students, past and present, attest to the strong sense of family, community, and respect for the unique gifts that each person contributes to the school and later to the world as priests, religious sisters, civic leaders, doctors, lawyers, judges, teachers, entrepreneurs, firemen, police officers, public servants and even a MLB umpire.
Our students form life-long bonds in the classroom, in the athletic and artistic arenas, and while serving and working together on co-curricular projects and activities.  I invite you to learn more about Father Lopez Catholic High School to discern if you think it would be a good place for your student.
I am inspired, daily, by our students, young men and women working together to achieve excellence and to lead lives of faith and service.  I marvel at their efforts to be the best they can be as students, athletes, artists, and leaders.

I am humbled and proud to serve as the president of Father Lopez Catholic High School.

Welcome and God Bless,

Mr. Pat La Morte
President
Father Lopez Catholic High School

Dear Families,

In community with each of you, I have chosen Father Lopez Catholic High School as my school home.   I am humbled to serve this beautiful community and excited about the future.  Since my first experience here as a teacher in 2005, I have treasured belonging to Father Lopez and never ceased following the academic and athletic achievements of our students.  It is a pleasure to get to witness these accomplishments once again as principal.

Our students travel from multiple zip codes and counties to attend Father Lopez. Subsequently, our students have an impact on Daytona Beach and several adjacent communities.   The academic achievements of our students demonstrate excellence in education in this region.   The service and stewardship our students enrich the lives of this community and build the Kingdom of God here on earth.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, I strive every day to fulfill our mission of academic excellence within the Catholic tradition.    We are blessed with many gifts at Father Lopez.  We have a beautiful campus, impressive students, supportive families and amazing teachers.   Perhaps, we are most blessed by the richness of our faith and the long and persistent history of Catholic education.   The Catholic school is the heart of the church in many ways.  It is a place where we have the unique and potent opportunity to educate and evangelize.

Thank you for choosing this experience for your family.
Peace be with you,
Leigh Svajko Principal, Father Lopez Catholic High School
